LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.
On Sept. 7, 2007, Dfc Milton Pesante served two Circuit Court Warrants on Scotty Ray Mallette, 30, of Hollywood, Maryland, for failing to pay child support.
On Sept. 10, 2007, Dfc Milton Pesante arrested Edward Dennis Dailey Jr., 43, of Lusby, Maryland, on a District Court Attachment for Contempt for failing to appear for court on August 27, 2007.
On Sept. 7, 2007 Dfc. J. Kirkner responded to a residence in California, Maryland for the reported Domestic Disturbance. Investigation revealed the victim and suspect were involved in a verbal altercation in the parking lot outside the residence. Investigation revealed the suspect, Tammy L. Styles, 36, of Leonardtown, had scratched the victim on his face during the dispute. Styles was placed under arrest, charged with Second Degree Assault and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
On Sept. 6, 2007 Deputy Maquire initiated a vehicle stop on Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the operator of the vehicle, William C. Weeks, Jr., 57, of Brooklyn, Maryland, Deputy Maquire detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the operators person. Mr. Weeks was unable to satisfactorily complete the administered field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. A check of Mr. Week's Maryland Drivers License revealed Mr. Weeks was required to have an ignition interlocking device on vehicles he operates. The vehicle being operated by Mr. Weeks was not equipped with the device. Weeks was subsequently charged with Driving while Intoxicated, Driving in Violation of License Restriction, Fail to Drive Right of Center, incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
On Sept. 9, 2007 Deputy Campbell observed a vehicle fail to stop before entering the highway. A vehicle stop was initiated and contact was made with the operator, Brian A. Hickman, 27, of Mechanicsville. An odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected emitting from the person of Mr. Hickman. Mr. Hickman was unable to satisfactorily complete the administered field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. Mr. Hickman was subsequently charged with Driving While Intoxicated and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
On Sept. 7, 2007 Deputy W. Waters responded to the McKay's in Lexington Park for the reported Theft. Investigation revealed Bonita M. Fenwick, 50, of Lexington Park, entered the food store and concealed various food items in her purse and plastic bags. Ms. Fenwick then exited the store without rendering payment for the items. She was stopped by store employees and escorted to the store security office. Ms Fenwick was arrested by Deputy Waters, charged with Theft under $500 and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
On Sept. 9, 2007 Dfc. Kirkner responded to the parking lot of the IHOP Restaurant in Lexington Park for the report of a disturbance in the parking lot. Investigation revealed Kirby B. Jordan, 19, of Valley Lee, was in the parking lot shouting profanities and acting in a disorderly manner. Jordan was advised several times to cease her actions and refused. Jordan was subsequently placed under arrest, charged with Disorderly Conduct and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
On Sept. 6, 2007 Sdfc. M. Porter located and arrested William W. Summers, 35, of Mechanicsville, on an outstanding warrant through Charles County for Violation of Probation.
On Sept. 8, 2007 Deputy Green located and arrested King D. White, 45, of Great Mills, on an outstanding warrant for Violation of Probation.
On Sept. 7, 2007 Deputy Waters located and arrested Peter B. Agostinho, 40, of California, Maryland, on an outstanding warrant through Baltimore City for Harassment.
Editor's Note (03-DEC-2007): On 30-NOV-2007 Mr. Agostinho requested that the above report be annotated to indicate that the State chose not to prosecute the case. We have reviewed official documentation
from the District Court of Maryland for Baltimore City dtd 10/25/2007 which states, "The
State's Attorney entered a NOLLE PROSEQUI in the above case [0B01904329]. That
is, the State's Attorney has determined that the case will not be prosecuted."
On Sept. 9, 2007 Deputy Campbell located and arrested Ronald B. Rockhill, 53, of Shady Side, Maryland, on an outstanding warrant for Malicious Destruction of Property under $500.
On Sept. 9, 2007 Dfc. Logalbo located and arrested Dale L. Buckler, 40, of Leonardtown, on an outstanding warrant for three counts of Assault 2nd Degree.
