PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (September 6, 2007) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On Aug. 31, 4:36 PM, Rt. 2/4, Lusby, TPR Donaldson stopped a vehicle for an expired tag. Upon contact with the operator, Jeremy Bryant Taylor, 32, of Bryans Road, he advised TPR Donaldson that the tags had belonged to a friend and the vehicle was unregistered. A K-9 CDS scan was then conducted by Sgt. Gregory, CCSO, which produced a positive alert. A search was conducted and suspected marijuana was located in the vehicle. Mr. Taylor was arrested at that time and charged with possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
THEFT: On Sep. 3, TPR Towers responded to Calvert Marina, Solomons, for a reported theft. Investigation revealed that an unknown culprit had removed a 1995 Nissan 8hp outboard motor, valued at $1400.00, from a boat.
