LEONARDTOWN, Md. (September 4, 2007) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
CDS: On Friday, August 31, 2007 at 6:09 pm, William Joseph Morrison, 23, of Lexington Park was arrested by TFC R. Hill for possession of CDS. Mr. Morrison was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
CDS: On Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 4:20 am, William Franklin Dixon Moore, 26, of Waldorf was arrested TFC Rezza for DWI. A search incident to arrest revealed Mr. Moore was in possession of a CDS smoking device with marijuana residue. Mr. Moore was also charged with possession of Marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. The arrest occurred on Route 5 at Route 6 in Mechanicsville. Mr. Moore was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
CDS: On Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 8:57 pm, Tpr. Pilkerton initiated a traffic stop on a blue Chevrolet Cavalier for an equipment violation on Golden Beach Road at All Faiths Church Road in Mechanicsville. During the course of the traffic stop a male juvenile, 17, of Hughesville was arrested for possession of Marijuana. He was released to his father pending further action by Juvenile Services.
THEFT/DOP/DISORDERLY: On Sunday, September 2, 2007 at 1:12 am, Jeffrey Don Borgholthaus, 25, of Lusby was arrested by TFC Rezza at the Big Dogs in Paradise Bar and Carry-out in the 28000 block of Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville. Mr. Borgholthaus was charged with Theft over $500, Attempted Theft, Malicious Destruction of Property and Disorderly Conduct. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
THEFT: On Sunday, September 2, 2007 at 6:31 am, TFC Rezza responded to a reported Theft from a motor vehicle in the 38000 block of Breezy Point Road in Coltons Point. Upon arrival contact was made with the female victim, of Chantilly, VA, who advised unknown suspects broke the driver's side window of her gray Honda Accord and took her purse. During a neighborhood check, the purse was later recovered on the steps of the Coltons Point Post Office and all contents of the purse were stolen. The purse was returned to the victim and the investigation continues.
WARRANT ARREST: On Thursday, August 30, 2007, Sherri Lynn Knight, 30, of Clinton was arrested by Tpr. Jackson in Prince Georges County on a Bench Warrant (T311722) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on September 21, 2005. The original charges were 2 counts each Theft Over $500 and Forgery & Uttering private documents. She was taken before the Court Commissioner in Prince Georges County and held pending a bond review.
WARRANT ARREST:
On Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 12:40 pm, William Claude Jones, Jr., 21, of Ridge was served a Bench Warrant (T3-12968) by the Charles County Sheriff's Department for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on August 1, 2007. The original charge was for possession of Marijuana. Mr. Jones was held in the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review.
WARRANT ARREST:
On Thursday, August 31, 2007 at 2:29 pm, Paul Allen Unkle, 31, of Leonardtown was arrested by TFC Stockton on a Circuit Court warrant (T3-13017) on the original charge of Escape - Second Degree. Mr. Unkle was already incarcerated in the St. Mary's County Detention Center on related charges and is being held pending a bond review.
WARRANT ARREST:
On Friday, August 31, 2007 at 1:15 am, Tayvonna Monique Yates, 19, of Fort George E. Meade was arrested by TFC Quade on a Bench Warrant (T3-13018) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Annapolis on January 23, 2007. The original charge was Possession of Marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. Ms. Yates was taken to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
WARRANT ARREST:
On Friday, August 31, 2007 at 12:58 pm, Candace Renee Nicholson, 22, of Hollywood was arrested by TFC E. Evans on a Bench Warrant (T3-12592) for Failing to Follow Conditions of Probation by paying restitution to the State's Attorney's Office in Leonardtown. Ms. Nicholson was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
WARRANT ARREST:
On Friday, August 31, 2007 at 6:00 pm, John Anthony Supensky, 46, of Great Mills was arrested by TFC Rossignol on a Circuit Court True Bill Indictment Warrant (T313019) on the original charge of 1st Degree Assault. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
WARRANT ARREST:
On Friday, August 31, 2007 at 9:00 pm, Anthony Gregory Dickens, Jr., 38, of Lexington Park was arrested by TFC Moore on a Bench Warrant (T3-12958) on the original charge of Failing to Pay a deferred payment by May 18, 2007. Mr. Dickens was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
WARRANT ARREST:
On Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 1:32 am, Erica Vanessa Brooks, 21, of Lexington Park was arrested by TFC Rezza on an Arrest Warrant from Calvert County (T3-13020) on the original charge of Assault 2nd Degree. Ms. Brooks was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
WARRANT ARREST:
On Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 1:00 pm, Benson Albert Jones, Jr., 39, of Lexington Park was arrested by Tpr. White on a Bench Warrant (T3-12829) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on May 8, 2007. The original charge was driving while suspended. Mr. Jones was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
WARRANT ARREST:
On Sunday, September 2, 2007 at 2:30 pm, Steven Eugene Carter, 24, of Rockville was arrested by TFC E. Evans on a Bench Warrant (T313021) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Montgomery County on April 12, 2007. The original charge was driving on a suspended license. Mr. Carter was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.
WARRANT ARREST:
On Monday, September 3, 2007 at 4:50 pm, Nathan Junior Williams, 40, of Lexington Park was arrested by TFC Grimes on a Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear in District Court in Calvert County on August 16, 2007. The original charge was DWI and driving on a suspended license. Mr. Williams was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
