MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

On Monday, August 20, 2007 at 10:20 am, TFC M. Grimes responded to a reported theft from motor vehicle in the Leonardtown Center. Contact was made with the female complainant who advised unknown suspect(s) broke into her gray Honda Civic and took a DUAL CD Player, Pioneer speakers, Sony Explode 600 watt amplifier, 12" Kicker subwoofer and a digital camera. Investigation continues.

On Monday, August 20, 2007 at 7:27 pm, TFC M. Moore responded to a reported theft from motor vehicle which occurred on Friday, August 17, 2007 in the San Souci Plaza in California. Contact was made with the female complainant in Lexington Park who advised unknown suspect(s) took a Sony CD/Radio, Yellow Jump Starter Box, Model #BP-6 and a blue Handicap Placard from the vehicle. Investigation continues.

On Monday, August 20, 2007 at 7:58 pm, Tpr. Brill and TFC Laney responded to the Belk Store for a theft in progress. Upon arrival contact was made with the security manager who advised two juveniles, a 17 year old female and a 15 year old male fled on foot from the store after stealing several articles of clothing. The juveniles were later apprehended in the area by TFC Laney. It was discovered that the juveniles also stole articles of clothing from JC Penney. Both juveniles were issued no trespass notices for the Belk Store and JC Penney Store. They were released to their parents pending further action by Juvenile Services.

On Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 3:20 pm, TFC Moore responded to St. Mary's Square in Lexington Park for a reported theft from motor vehicle. Upon arrival contact was made with the male victim, 24, of Tall Timbers who advised unknown suspect(s) stole approximately $912.00 in work tools from his white Ford work truck. Investigation continues.

On Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 1:00 pm, Brian Christopher King, 36, of Waldorf was arrested on a Circuit Court True Bill Indictment (T3-12997) for Possession With Intent to Distribute Narcotics. The Warrant was served by TFC Quade and Mr. King was incarcerated in the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.

On Monday, August 20, 2007, at 10:00 am, TFC M. Grimes served a Bench Warrant (T3-12990) on Terry Francis Clinton, 44, of Lexington Park. The Bench Warrant was issued in District Court on August 15, 2007. The charges are for Failing to Appear / Theft Under $100. Mr. Clinton was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.

On Monday, August 20, 2007 at 4:51 pm, TFC M. Moore served a Bench Warrant (T3-12976) on Edward Stanley Elam, 58, of Lexington Park. The Bench Warrant was issued in District Court on August 7, 2007. The charges were Failing to Appear / driving a rental car in violation of the rental agreement. Mr. Elam was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.

On Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 2:30 pm, Michael Grafton Robinson, 39, of Callaway was arrested on an Arrest Warrant (T3-12409) charging him with Theft Under $100 in Prince Frederick. He was arrested by Tpr. J. Chirichella and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.
