MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

On Monday, August 6, 2007 at 10:47 pm, TFC Laney responded to the 18000 block of Three Notch Road in Lexington Park for a reported civil complaint. Upon arrival a dark Honda Accord was exiting the driveway slowly. Contact was made with the male complainant of Lexington Park. While speaking with the complainant, two Hispanic males were observed exiting a Dodge Neon which was parked at the residence. A foot chase ensued and Joseph Raul Gonzalez Villalta, 21 was apprehended in the woods. Mr. Villalta was charged with theft over $500 and malicious destruction of property to a motor vehicle. He was incarcerated in the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review. Investigation continues.

On Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 9:36 am, Tpr. Shughart responded to a reported disturbance in the 26000 block of Erin Drive in Mechanicsville. Upon arrival contact was made with the female complainant who advised a neighbor, Timothy Patrick Pumphrey, 48, of Mechanicsville was intoxicated and yelling obscenities. Mr. Pumphrey was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.

On Monday, August 13, 2007 at 2:46 am, Tpr. Shughart responded to a reported malicious destruction of property in the 37000 of East Lakeland Drive in Mechanicsville. Contact was made with the male complainant who advised he heard suspicious noises and observed unknown subjects running from the front of his residence. He discovered his mailbox had been damaged as were several others on the street. Neighborhood checks are being made and the investigation continues.

On Monday, August 13, 2007 at 9:28 am, Tpr. M. Adams responded to a reported burglary in the 18000 block of Chestnut Street in Lexington Park. Contact was made with the male complainant who advised suspects burglarized the residence and took a Kodak digital camera, some framed photographs, and several articles of clothing. Investigation continues.

On Monday, August 13, 2007 at 3:35 pm, TFC Lashley served a Bench Warrant (T3-12972) on Darnell Antwan Young, 20, of Lexington Park for Failing to Appear on charges of Driving on a Suspended License and Driving Uninsured Vehicle. Mr. Young was to have appeared in District Court in Montgomery County on June 12, 2007. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.

On Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 12:45 pm, TFC Rezza served a Bench Warrant (T3-12985) on Andrew Hall Thompson, 42, of Hollywood for Failing to Appear on charges of Violation of Court Order (DUI). Mr. Thompson was to have appeared in District Court in Calvert County on July 13, 2007. Mr. Thompson was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.
