LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.
On 08/12/07 Deputies responded to a residence in the Spring Rise Court area of Mechanicsville for the reported domestic assault in progress. Investigation revealed that Joseph Lavon Mason (Age 33 of Mechanicsville) had assaulted his live-in girlfriend during a domestic argument. Mason was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault. Deputy Timothy Butler was the arresting officer.
On 08/13/07 Darnell Antwann Young (Age 20 of Waldorf) was arrested on a Bench Warrant issued by the District Court for St. Marys County for Failing to Appear in Court to answer to the original charge of Driving an Uninsured Motor Vehicle on the Highway. Corporal Mark Clark was the arresting officer.
On 08/13/07 Richard Frank Powell (Age 21 of Mechanicsville) was arrested on a Bench Warrant issued by the District Court for St. Mary's County for Failing to Appear in Court to answer to the original charge of Assault in the Second Degree. Corporal Michael Butler was the arresting officer.
On 08/13/07 Kimberly Ann Gordon (Age 22 of Mechanicsville) was arrested on a warrant issued by the District Court for St. Mary's County for the charge of Assault in the Second Degree. Deputy Michael Campbell was the arresting officer.
