St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

Deputies Harold Young and David Yingling were in a Lexington Park neighborhood conducting pro-active enforcement actions when they attempted to contact a subject on a street corner. The suspect, Gregory Riley (Age 29 of Lexington Park) fled on foot and a chase ensued. The suspect discarded marijuana as he fled which was recovered. Once apprehended he resisted arrest before being taken into custody. There were no injuries to any of the involved parties.

Susan Anne Hines (Age 37 of Mechanicsville) was charged by Deputy James Maguire with passing a worthless check valued at $50.00.

Renee Kimberly Pilkerton (Age 33 of Hollywood, Md.) was charged by Deputy James Maguire with passing a worthless check valued at $100.00.

Colette Regina Thomas (Age 29 of Lexington Park) was arrested by Deputy Harold Young for passing a worthless check valued at more than $25.00.

Philip Edward Meagher III (Age 36 of Elkton, Md.) was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle by Deputy Megan Guy.
