Calvert County Sheriff's Reports


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Calvert County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DOP: A Calvert County government employee advised F/Sgt. Timothy Buckmaster that unknown suspect(s) had spray painted graffiti in several places within the Dunkirk Park between July 12th and 13th. Damage is estimated at $510. Anyone with information is asked to contact F/Sgt. Buckmaster at 410-535-2800.

DOP: Dep. Brian Wendland responded to a destruction of property call at the Chesapeake Water Park in Chesapeake Beach on July 15. The victim advised that his vehicle had been parked there between 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. that day and unknown suspect(s) had broken the rear driver's side window causing $300 in damage. Dep. Wendland will continue the investigation.

THEFT: Dep. Aaron Locke responded to Ivory Lane in Port Republic on July 19 for a theft report. A resident advised him that the street sign, valued at $60.00, had been stolen between July 17 and 18.

THEFT: On July 20th, a resident in Lusby advised Dep. Locke that the street sign for The Bitter End Road in Lusby was observed missing on that day. Anyone with information about either of these thefts is asked to contact Dep. Locke at 410-535-2800.

THEFT/DOP: A victim on Chesapeake Beach Drive in Dunkirk reported to Cpl. Gary Shrawder that unknown suspect(s) stole two tires, valued at $100 and broke a window in his van, causing $100 in damage between July 19th and 20th. The investigation is continuing.
