PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: During the overnight hours of 7-17, an unknown culprit spraypainted graffiti at various places at Northern Middle and Northern High schools. The graffiti included: “ONG”, “HMG”, “Nausea”, “420”, and “Sly”. TFC Dawson is handling the investigation.
THEFT: On 7-18, approximately 12:45 PM, a resident of Jacksonville, FL, who was visiting the Cove Point pool, inadvertently left her wedding rings in the locker room. When she returned, the rings, valued at $40,000, had been taken. TPR Laziuck is handling the investigation.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: During the overnight hours of 7-18, an unknown culprit destroyed the windshield of a truck parked at a construction site on 16th St., in Randle Cliffs. TPR Korn is handling the investigation.
BURGLARY: On 7-19, between 12:00 PM and 4:30 PM, an unknown culprit entered an unlocked window to a residence on Brian’s Way, Lusby, and removed a Nikon digital camera. TPR Bodnar is handling the investigation.
BURGLARY: On 7-22, 10:30 AM, a resident of Stamper Ct., Prince Frederick, reported that an unknown culprit had forcibly entered her residence and removed an undisclosed amount of currency. TPR Bodnar is handling the investigation.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 7-23, 6:30 PM, Bayside Rd., North Beach, TPR Merkelson stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A K-9 alerted on the vehicle and a search was conducted. During the search, a baggie of suspected marijuana and 3 CDS smoking devices were recovered. Arrested at that time for possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia were Travis A. Belfield, 18, of Chesapeake Beach, and Jason Nelson Tomlinson, 23, of Morningside. After processing, they were transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
