St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

James Alfred Forsyth (Age 44 of Mechanicsville) was charged on a Criminal Summons with Assault Second Degree.

Ricky Ricardo Barnes (Age 43 of St. Inigoes) was charged with Assault Second Degree. Suspect Barnes was charged on a Criminal Summons by Deputy Joseph LaBrack. The incident was related to a dispute over a cellular phone between the suspect and the female victim.

Justin Ryan Knott (Age 22 of Fredericksburg, Va.) was charged with Assault Second Degree. The charges were through a Criminal Summons and Deputy Glen Saltsman served them.

Brenda Lee Tippett (Age 33 of Lexington Park) and her daughter Tina Tippett (Age 18 of Lexington Park) were charged on a Criminal Summons for their part in an Assault that took place June 22, 2007. Deputy David Goff made contact with the victim who was lying motionless on the roadside. The female victim had injuries to her face and head. She was transported to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment. The investigation revealed that the victim was leaving a Lexington Park Convenience Store when she was approached by Suspect Tina Tippett. A confrontation began and the victim attempted to flee on foot. Suspect Tina Tippett and her mother, Suspect Brenda Tippett reportedly chased the victim down, forced her to the ground and began to assault her. Suspect Brenda Tippett held the victim down while Suspect Tina Tippett repeatedly struck her.

Nicole Thomas Ashley (Age 20 of Lusby) was charged on a Criminal Summons through the District Court of Calvert County for Theft Scheme over $500.00 and Theft under $100.00. Deputy Michael Worrey served the Summons.

Robert Daniel Peterman Jr. (Age 30 of Mechanicsville) was arrested on an open warrant for Theft under $500.00. The warrant was served by Deputy Margaret Smolarsky.

William Stephen Holmes (Age 64 of Leonardtown) was charged on a Criminal Summons by Deputy Shawn Carberry. The charges stem from an incident on July 12, 2007 and include Sexual Offense 4th Degree, False Imprisonment, and Assault Second Degree.

Kimberly Ann Hamilton (Age 30 of Chaptico) was charged on a Criminal Summons with passing a worthless check in the amount of $30.00. Deputy Kevin Somerville was the charging Deputy.

Jennifer Joy Hubbard (Age 29 of Lexington Park) was charged on a Criminal Summons by Deputy David Goff with passing a worthless check. The check was valued at more than $26.00.

While conducting a premise check in Lexington Park, Deputy Eric Walker encountered a suspicious vehicle to the rear of an establishment. The subject advised he was waiting for someone. When the other person arrived it was discovered he was in possession of "crack cocaine". The cocaine was recovered from his shoes. Suspect Fredy Hermon Eatmon (Age 42 of No Fixed Address) was arrested and charged with Possession of Cocaine.

Curtis Jerome Mason (Age 33 of Lexington Park) was arrested for an open warrant through Charles County Circuit Court.

Adella Marie Ackerman (Age 40 of Lexington Park) was arrested and charged with three (3) counts of Violation of Protective Order, Resisting Arrest, and Telephone Misuse. Deputies attempted to arrest the suspect on several violations and she actively resisted arrest. No one was injured in the incident.

Deputy Timothy Reese responded to the reported domestic dispute in Scotland. As a result of his investigation John Edward Burch (Age 26 of Scotland, Md.) was arrested and charged with Assault Second Degree. The suspect was found to have caused visible injury to the female victim.

Eldridge Eugene Shade (Age 41 from Mechanicsville) was arrested on an open warrant by Deputy Timothy Butler. The warrants were related to the Suspect Failing to Appear.

Christopher Paul Espina (Age 40 of Leonardtown) was arrested by Deputy Kevin Meyer for Failure to Appear.

Seth Able Caton (Age 22 of Lusby) was arrested for Failure to Appear by Deputy Timothy Butler.

Brandon Leonard Young (Age 21 of Lexington Park) as arrested for two counts of Assault Second Degree. Deputy McCoy was the arresting Officer.

Ali Mataka McQueen (Age 21 of Fort Washington) was arrested for Failure to Appear by Deputy Timothy Reese.
