PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
POSSESSION OF COCAINE/MARIJUANA: On July 2, 7:30 a.m., N. Prince Frederick Blvd., Prince Frederick, Deputy Rickard, CCSO, stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A computer check revealed that the operator, David Chancie McDonald, 23, of Prince Frederick, had no driver’s license and was wanted on an open bench warrant for theft (<$500) by MSP Prince Frederick. TPR Ewig responded to the scene and took Mr. McDonald into custody. Incident to arrest, suspected crack-cocaine, powder cocaine, marijuana, and a CDS smoking device were located. He was then additionally charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana, and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On July 11, a resident of Scientists’ Cliffs, Port Republic, reported that an unknown culprit had smashed out the windshield and driver’s side window to his vehicle. TFC Lass is handling the investigation.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On July 15, between 5:30 p.m. and 5:40 p.m., an unknown culprit punctured a tire and scratched the paint to a vehicle parked at the Prince Frederick Wal-Mart. TPR Bodnar is handling the investigation.
THEFT: On july 16, between 9:40 p.m. and 11:40 p.m., an unknown culprit entered an unlocked vehicle in the Calvert Village Shopping Center parking lot, Prince Frederick, and removed a Verizon cellphone, an I-Trip, and an I-Pod. TPR Donaldson is handling the investigation.
