St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

On July 13, 2007 between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m., Senior Deputy First Class Emory Johnson, Senior Deputy First Class Michael Peacher and Deputy First Class Dale Reppel conducted an under cover underage alcohol patrol of the Maryland International Raceway in Budds Creek. One twenty-year-old female from La Plata was cited for possession of an alcoholic beverage by a person under twenty-one and one sixteen-year-old female was cited for possession of a tobacco product by a person under eighteen.

Lance Kelem Cuthchember (Age 25 of Valley Lee) was arrested by Sgt. Christopher Medved for Trespassing. The suspect was advised in writing to remain off the premises and failed to do so.

Deputy Eric Walker responded to a California business in regards to a theft. His investigation revealed that the suspect, Timothy David Goodrich (Age 22 of Lexington Park) had stolen items from his employer. The items were valued at more than $3,400.00. Once the items were stolen, they were auctioned by the suspect on EBay. Suspect Goodrich was arrested and charged with two counts of felony theft.

Deputy Milton Pesante arrested Clifford Rayfield Rhinehart II (Age 34 of Lexington Park) with Failure to Appear in Anne Arundel County. The case was related to Child Support.

Deputies were conducting a premise check on a specific area off of Loveville Road in Mechanicsville when they observed suspect Marlo Lionel Herbert (Age 29 of Leonardtown) on the premises. The entire property is posted with "No Trespassing" signs. As Deputies approached they were advised that suspect Herbert was in fact wanted. A foot chase ensued and Suspect Herbert was apprehended for the Failure to Appear warrant and the additional charge of Trespass. Deputy James Maguire was the arresting Deputy.

Deputy David Cowan located and arrested Amanda Lynn Grumbine (Age 24 of Lexington Park) for an open warrant for Theft. A search incident to that arrest revealed a quantity of marijuana. She received the additional charge of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Jeffrey Aca Bice (Age 22 of Mechanicsville) was arrested by Deputy Harold Young for Failure to Appear in the District Court for Prince George's County.

Richard Arthur Binger Jr. (Age 39 of Ridge) was arrested by Deputy Harold Young for Assault Second Degree and Theft over $500.00. The warrant was issued through the District Court for Anne Arundel County.

Lashanda Lee Ann Biscoe (Age 18 of Valley Lee) was charged on a Criminal Summons by Deputy Robert Gill for Telephone Misuse.

Michael Lee Bush (Age 47 of Hollywood, Md.) was charged with Trespassing on a Criminal Summons by Deputy Elisabeth Trossbach.

Dawn Rene Taylor (Age 40 of Leonardtown) was charged on a Criminal Summons for passing a worthless check. The check was valued at $15.00 and the Summons was served by Deputy Chris Byrd.

Amy Marie Lambert (Age 31 of No Fixed Address) was arrested on an open warrant by Deputy Michael Harrison. The warrant charges eighteen (18) counts of Theft under $100.00, Theft under $500.00 and Theft Scheme over $500.00.

Rajendra Charles Solomon (Age 63 of California, Md.) was charged on a Criminal Summons with Assault Second Degree, Fourth Degree Sexual Offense and Harassment. The Summons was served by Deputy Brian Connelly.

Robyn Louise Bowker (Age 44 of Mechanicsville) was charged on a Criminal Summons with passing worthless check. The check was valued at $10.00 and the Summons was served by Deputy Jason Graves.

Deputies responded to a residence for the reported "Violation of a Protective Order". Upon arrival the Suspect, Robert Wayne Hamilton (Age 35 of Lexington Park) was found at the home, in violation of a District Court Judge's Order. He was arrested by Deputy Scott Ruest.

Deputies responded to the reported "Fight in Progress" at a Leonardtown home. Upon arrival contact was made with the female victim who had swelling to her face and a ripped shirt. The victim stated she was stuck with a closed fist several times in the head and threatened with a hammer. Contact was made inside the home with the suspect, Dean Erick Chance (Age 34 of Leonardtown). There was a sign of a struggle in the bedroom and living room area. The hammer described by the victim was located out in plain view. Suspect Chance was arrested by Deputy Douglas Harris.

William Franklin Broadus Sr. (Age 56 of Lexington Park) was arrested after a domestic dispute turned physical. The arresting Deputy was Michael Worrey.

Deputy Kevin Somerville made a vehicle stop for a speed violation in Leonardtown. As he made the stop, the operator threw herself in the rear seat. There was a second person in the rear and one in the front. The operator, Leslie L. Jackson (Age 28 of Newburg, Md.) was arrested for operating a vehicle while suspended. The second rear seat passenger, Rachel Mary Jones (Age 19 of Newburg, Md.) was arrested for a Failure to Appear warrant through Charles County.

Marquitta Nicole Dyson (Age 19 of Mechanicsville) was arrested by Deputy Elisabeth Trossbach for several theft related charges. Suspect Dyson worked at a California, Maryland Store and stole nearly $1,400.00 from her employer.

Charles McCleland Shorter (Age 45 of LaPlata, Md.) was arrested by Deputy Timothy White for stealing a bottle of vodka valued at more than $37.00.

Deputies responded to a Leonardtown home for the reported domestic dispute. The dispute turned physical when the suspect, Brenda Carol Chartier (Age 50 of Leonardtown) struck the male victim several times in the back with a stick. The strikes caused marks and at least one (1) two inch laceration to the victim's back. Suspect Chartier was arrested and charged with Assault Second Degree.

Deputies responded to a call for a "Fight in Progress" at a California Department Store. There was an active struggle when the Deputies arrived and the two parties were separated. The suspect, Jerry Lewis Gray (Age 47 of No Fixed Address) was shouting profanities and generally making a disturbance. He resisted arrest as the Deputies attempted to place him in custody. More than $100.00 worth of stolen property was recovered from Suspect Gray. The other male involved in the struggle was a Loss Prevention Manager for the establishment. He was not injured.

Ralph Delontay Weems (Age 27 of Lexington Park) was arrested by Deputy Elisabeth Trossbach for Assault Second Degree. Suspect Weems struck the female victim in the face during a domestic dispute, causing her eye to swell.

James Kelly Butler (Age 30 of Great Mills) was arrested by Deputy Timothy White for Failure to Appear.

Jerry Michael Weber (Age 39 of Helen, Md.) was served his Fugitive from Justice Warrant through the State of Michigan. The warrant was served by Deputy Timothy White.

Lisa Ann Mattingly (Age 28 of California, Md.) was arrested on an open warrant for Violation of Probation by Deputy Emory Johnson.

Enoch Antone Edwards (Age 45 of Great Mills) was arrested by Deputy James Maguire for passing a worthless check and Violation of a Protective Order.

Anthony Leo Macon (Age 40 of Lexington Park) was arrested by Deputy Robert Gill for Trespassing. The Suspect was located on the premises, arrested and the additional warrant was served for Trespassing at the same location.

Milford Anthwan Brooks Sr. (Age 46 of No Fixed Address) was arrested and charged with Failure to Appear by Deputy Wayne Milam.

The following suspects were arrested for Impaired Driving Violations:

* Michelle Renee Reynolds (Age 38 of Waldorf, Md.) by Deputy Stephen Simonds. She is a repeat offender.

* Kenneth Lee Childs (Age 38 of Lexington Park) by Deputy Scott Ruest.

* Geoffrey Eli Estrello (Age 24 of Indian Head, Md.) by Deputy Robert Russell.

* Brittany Anne Adams (Age 18 of Mechanicsville) by Deputy D.M. Milam.

* George Michael McClusick Jr. (Age 56of State College Pa.) by Deputy J. Kirkner.

Jimmy Charles Weber (Age 36 of Waldorf, Md.) by Deputy Jason Maletto.
