MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

On Monday, July 9, 2007 at 8:13 p.m., TFC Lashley responded to a disturbance in the 28000 block of Point Lookout Road in Loveville. Contact was made with the male complainant who advised he was assaulted by the suspect, Scott Franklin Greenwell, 38, of Leonardtown. Mr. Greenwell had fled the scene and was later apprehended at his residence. Mr. Greenwell was arrested for Assault 2nd degree. A search incident to arrest revealed Mr. Greenwell was in possession of marijuana and charged accordingly. He was also charged with DUI and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.

On Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at 7:50 a.m., Tpr. Pilkerton responded to 23200 Leonard Hall Drive in Leonardtown for a reported Destruction of Property. Contact was made with the male complainant who advised the suspect, Steven Darrell Baker, 26, of Leonardtown cut the hydraulic lines disabling the drilling equipment. Mr. Baker was arrested and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.
