MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

On Monday, July 2, 2007 at 8:56 am, TFC Stockton responded to a reported malicious destruction of property in the 46000 block of Midway Drive in Lexington Park. Upon arrival contact was made with the male complainant who advised unknown subject(s) broke out the windows in the construction trailer. No further information is available and the investigation is continuing.

On Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 2:51 am, TFC E. Evans responded to a reported disturbance in the 23000 block of Bill Dixon Road in California. Contact was made with the suspect, Salman Mohammad Nasrullah, 19, of Suitland at Route 4 and North Patuxent Beach Road operating a green Toyota Camry. An odor of an alcoholic beverage was emitting from his breath. Mr. Nasrullah was arrested for driving under the influence. Contact was also made with the female complainant who advised Salman Mohammad Nasrullah, 19, of Suitland was in violation of a Protective Order. The Protective Order was confirmed and Mr. Nasrullah was arrested for the violation. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.

On Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 11:53 am, TFC Linger initiated a traffic stop on a red Dodge Caravan at Route 5 and Route 6 in Mechanicsville for an equipment violation. Contact was made with the driver, Gary Sylvester Mason, 29, of Port Republic. A check through MVA revealed Mr. Mason's license was suspended. Mr. Mason was arrested for driving on a suspended license. A search incident to arrest revealed a plastic bag containing cocaine in the vehicle and Mr. Mason was also charged with possession of cocaine. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.

On Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 6:26 pm, TFC Trossbach initiated a traffic stop on a Nissan MX-6 for exceeding the posted speed limit on Golden Beach Road in Mechanicsville. Contact was made with the driver, Michael Robert Garrett, Jr., 21, of Brandywine. During the course of the traffic stop, Mr. Garrett was arrested for possession of cocaine and possession of paraphernalia and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.

On Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 12:36 am, Tpr Brill responded to Donavan's Pub at 22767 Three Notch Road in California for a reported theft from motor vehicle. Contact was made with the female complainant who advised unknown suspect(s) stole an Alpine CD player from her blue Saturn car. Investigation continues.

On Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 10:41 am, Tpr Adams responded to the 47000 block of Schwartzkopf Drive for the reported burglary. Upon arrival contact was made with the male complainant who advised unknown suspect(s) burglarized their residence during the night. Items taken from the residence include a Nintendo Wii game console, Game Cube game console, several games and a small fire proof safe. The investigation continues.

On Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 3: 55 pm, TFC Linger initiated a traffic stop on a white Pontiac Trans Am for exceeding the posted speed limit on Hollywood Road in the area of McIntosh Road in Hollywood. Contact was made with the driver, Joseph Alton Bailey, 40, of Loveville and the passenger Marvin Eugene Briscoe, 25, of Hollywood. During the course of the traffic stop both Mr. Bailey and Mr. Briscoe were arrested for possession of cocaine and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.

On Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 10:41 pm, TFC Linger responded to a reported domestic disturbance in the 38000 block of Van Ward Road in Avenue. Contact was made with the suspect, Theodore Eustace Kotowski, 47, of Avenue and an odor of an alcoholic beverage was emitting from his breath. Contact was then made with the female complainant who advised she had been assaulted by the suspect who was placed under arrest for domestic assault. Mr. Kotowski was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.

On Sunday, July 8, 2007 at 12:37 pm, Tpr Adams initiated a traffic stop on a black Chevrolet S-10 on Willows Road in the area of Hilton Drive in Lexington Park for exceeding the posted speed limit. Contact was made with the driver, Francine Mae Morgan, 48, of Lexington Park. Tpr Adams observed in plain view a cellophane baggie containing marijuana protruding from her pants pocket. Ms. Morgan was arrested for possession of marijuana and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.
