St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

On June 16, between the hours of 8 p.m. and midnight, a DWI Saturation Patrol was conducted by the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office. Officers patrolled MD Route 5 South of MD Route 246 to Point Lookout resulting in 6 vehicle stops for various traffic offenses and one stop of a suspected impaired driver.

Deputy Elizabeth Trossbach arrested Michael David Maskalenko (Age 22 of Great Mills) for Driving under the Influence.

Karen Denise Topolski (Age 48 of Ridge) was charged on a Criminal Summons for Assault Second Degree. The Suspect struck her estranged husband in the face with a closed fist causing a laceration.

Anna Alicia McCoy (Age 18 of Lexington Park) was charged with both First and Second Degree Assault by Deputy McCoy after it was determined that she had stabbed the father of her child. The victim, who did not cooperate with the investigation, was treated and released from St. Mary's Hospital.

Keith Randall Nelson (Age 33 of Leonardtown) was arrested for Failure to Pay Child Support by Deputy Boyer.

Lois Ann Doyle (Age 41 of Mechanicsville) was arrested by Deputy Michael George for Failure to Appear in the Circuit Court.

Allen Dale Windsor Jr. (Age 28 of California, Md.) was arrested by Deputy James Maguire for Failure to Appear.

Thomas Hillary Dean Sr. (Age 76 of Hollywood, Md.) was arrested for Failure to Appear on an original charge of Driving under the Influence. Deputy Robert Gill was the arresting Deputy.
