St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

On 05/31/07 Deputy Scott Ruest responded to a disturbance in the Lexington Park area of St. Mary's County. Once on the scene his investigation revealed that Mandy Brooke Lane (Age 19 of Lexington Park) had assaulted her live-in boyfriend. Lane was arrested and charged with Assault.

On 05/24/07 Deputy Jeremy Greene arrested James Travis Moore (Age 19 of Lexington Park) on a warrant issued by the Circuit Court for St. Mary's County for the charge of Accessory After the Fact.

On 05/27/07 Deputy Kevin Meyer arrested Kristin Nichole Artes (Age 22 of Lusby) on a warrant issued by the District Court of Charles County for Violation of Probation.

On 05/30/07 Deputy Marci Faulkner arrested Denise Lachelle Williams (Age 38 of Lexington Park) on a Bench Warrant issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County for Failing to Appear in Court on the original charge of Theft.

On 05/30/07 Deputy David Corcoran arrested Izella Edgar Bush (Age 38 of Lexington Park) on a warrant issued by the Circuit Court for St. Mary's County for Failing to Appear in Court to answer to the charge of Violation of Probation.

On 05/31/07 Deputy Scott Ruest arrested Elizabeth Ann Kennedy (Age 42 of Newburg) on a Bench Warrant issued by the District Court of St. Mary's for Failing to Appear in Court to answer to the original charge of uttering a check with insufficient funds.

Deputy Brian Connelly conducted a vehicle stop in the California area for possible impairment. Upon contacting the operator of the vehicle it was determined that there was some form of impairment, other than alcohol. Suspect Scotty Ray Mallette (Age 30 of Lexington Park) performed the roadside tests and failed them. A Drug Recognition Expert was summons and Suspect Mallette was arrested for operating the vehicle while under the influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. A search incident to that arrested revealed a quantity of marijuana.

Sterling Eugene Bollinger (Age 36 of Lexington Park) was charged with passing a worthless check. The value of the check was more than $376.00 and Deputy Shawn Moses was the charging Deputy.

Deputy Jason Graves was conducting an investigation into a reported theft of a Dump Truck. The vehicle was stolen from Avenue, Maryland. Brett Andrew Hudson (Age 19 of Avenue, Md.) was found to be in possession of the stolen vehicle as well as in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and charged, while the vehicle was returned.

While investigating an alcohol violation on Flower Court in Mechanicsville Deputy Jason Graves found that Suspect Daniel Alan Faucette (Age 21 of Mechanicsville) was in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and charged with the violation.

Anthony Charles Wright (Age 38 of No Fixed Address) was arrested for an open Violation of Probation warrant through the State of Virginia. The arresting officer was Deputy Robert Merritt.

Brendan Douglas Carr (Age 24 of No Fixed Address) was arrested by Deputy David Cowan for an open Charles County District Court warrant.

Randy Larner Wright (Age 31 of Hughesville) was arrested by Deputy David Cowan for two (2) open Failure to Pay Child Support warrants.
