LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
BURGLARY: On Monday, April 23, 2007 at 9:36 pm, TFC Rezza responded to a reported burglary and theft at the 27000 block of Days End Lane in Mechanicsville. Contact was made with the complainant who advised his residence was burglarized. He advised several bottles of insulin, an Apple Ipod, Magnavox DVD player, Olympus digital camera, and jewelry were taken from the residence. Investigation continues.
On Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 5:15 pm, TFC Rezza responded back to the same residence on Days End Lane in Mechanicsville for another reported burglary and theft. Contact was again made with the complainant who advised his residence was burglarized again and a camera bag was taken from the house. The camera case contained a Sony DVD mini-disc camera and a Canon digital camera. During the course of the investigation, information was gathered which led to the arrest of 15 year old juvenile, of Mechanicsville. Also arrested was Mark Anthony Morgan, 19, of Mechanicsville. He was also charged with several counts of burglary and theft. He was also charged with possession of CDS paraphernalia which was on his person at the time of arrest. Mr. Morgan was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review. The juvenile was released to his father pending further action from Juvenile Services.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On Monday, April 30, 2007 at 11:20 am, TFC Nims responded to a reported disturbance at Tri Community Way and Winding Way in Great Mills. Upon arrival contact was made with the Catherine Burnette Davis, 46, of Lexington Park. Ms. Davis was intoxicated and yelling obscenities. Ms. Davis was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.
CDS ARREST: On Monday, May 7, 2007 at 9:51 am, TFC Linger initiated a traffic stop on a red Mercury Cougar on Route 5 at Old Village Road in Mechanicsville for an equipment violation. Contact was made with the driver, Shawn Patrick Ridgeway, 20, of Mechanicsville. Marijuana was observed on the front passenger floor. Mr. Ridgeway was placed under arrest for possession of marijuana. A search incident to arrest also revealed a smoking device with marijuana residue on the rear passenger floor. Mr. Ridgeway was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.
ASSAULT: On Monday, May 7, 2007 at 7:39 pm, TFC Trossbach responded to a disturbance in the 40000 block of Wolfe Drive in Mechanicsville. Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, who advised she was assaulted by Walter Charles Jarboe, 60, of Mechanicsville. During the course of the investigation, Mr. Jarboe was arrested for assault and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.
