LEXINGTON PARK, Md. - On Friday, May 4, three young men allegedly attacked and robbed a sixteen year-old victim in the Lord Calvert Trailer Park, Lexington Park. All three suspects have been apprehended and arrested. The unnamed victim suffered minor injuries.
On Friday, May 4, 2007 at approximately 6:00 p.m., St. Mary's County Sheriff's patrol units responded to the report of an armed robbery which occurred on Summer Lane in the Lord Calvert Trailer Park, Lexington Park, Maryland. Detectives from the St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) responded and assumed the investigation.
Detectives determined that three suspects attacked a sixteen year-old person and stole an undisclosed amount of money. Police say one of the suspects (Donte Vincent Gross) produced a knife, and cut the victim on the neck. The victim suffered a minor wound from the knife attack and multiple abrasions and contusions from a physical assault.
Patrol units and Detectives located and apprehended the suspects. The suspects were identified as, 19 year-old Duane Cornelious Mason (from Lexington Park), 20 year-old Donte Vincent Gross (from Lexington Park), and 16 year-old Trevon Damone Butler from Lexington Park. The suspects were taken to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where they were seen by a District Court Commissioner. All suspects were charged with Armed Robbery, 2nd degree assault and theft under $500.00. The suspects were incarcerated in the St. Mary's County Detention center.
