LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.
Two juvenile females from Calvert County were apprehended by Deputy Timothy Reese. They were caught stealing underwear from a California Department Store. They were charged and released to a guardian to await a hearing in the Juvenile Court.
Deputy Timothy Reese responded to a domestic assault at a Great Mills residence. Once on the scene he found that the female victim had been assaulted by her intoxicated husband. The suspect, Richard Eugene Briscoe (Age 28 of Great Mills) was arrested and charged with Assault Second Degree.
Deputy Jason Maletto responded to a Leonardtown bank for the reported forgery. His investigation revealed that two suspects Aimee Lynn Haines-Johnson (Age 24 of Lexington Park) and Braden Thomas Johnson (Age 22 of Lexington Park) had stolen checks from the victim and began to cash them. Suspect Braden Johnson was charged with Forgery, Issuing a False Document and Theft. Suspect Haines-Johnson was charged with Forgery and Theft.
Larry Edward Sams Jr. (Age 35 of Mechanicsville) was charged on a Criminal Summons for Burglary 2nd Degree, Theft under $500.00 and Possession of Burglary Tools. The Circuit Court Summons was served by Deputy Sarah Lacey.
Michael Anthony Wasson (Age 48 of Mechanicsville) was arrested by Corporal Mark Clark when he was found lying outside a Hollywood Store. Suspect Wassson was in various states of alertness when he was found. He was intoxicated and charged with Disorderly Conduct.
Denise Marie Peters (Age 41 of Leonardtown) was charged on a Criminal Summons with passing a bad check in the amount of $47.50 by Deputy Michael Harrison.
Sandra Lee King (Age 29 of No Fixed Address) was arrested by Deputy William Rishel for an open warrant related to Prostitution.
Terris Terrell Luckett Sr. (Age 39 Fort Washington) was arrested for Failure to Pay Child Support. The arrest was made by Deputy Angela Muller.
Deputy Robert Gill arrested David Timothy Knott (Age 21 of Ridge, Md.) for Violation of Probation.
Deputy Michael Worrey arrested Jack Franklin Webb (Age 20 of Great Mills) for operating a motor vehicle while suspended. A search incident to that arrest revealed a quantity of marijuana.
