CHARLES COUNTY, Md. - A 43 year-old Charlotte Hall man died in a single vehicle accident on Thursday, April 19 when the dump truck he was operating left the road and collided with a tree. The accident occurred near southbound Maryland Route 5 north of Maryland Route 488, Forest Park, Charles County. Police identified the man as Brent Guy Bowling.
Emergency medical personnel on the scene assessed that Bowling may have suffered a medical emergency prior to the crash. Mr. Bowling was pronounced deceased at the scene. The cause of death will be determined by autopsy performed by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Maryland State Police, La Plata Barrack, responded to the incident.
