LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.
Deputy Robert Gill arrested Jon Robert Letcher (Age 43 of Mechanicsville) for Assault Second Degree. The incident was related to a domestic assault in which the Suspect had struck the victim in the face with a closed fist. There was an additional charge of Violation of a Protective Order as well.
Lisa Darlene Lathem (Age 39 of Mechanicsville) was arrested for Failure to Appear in the Circuit Court for St. Mary's County. Deputy James Maguire was the arresting Deputy.
Joseph Nathaniel Greewell (Age 19 of Leonardtown) was arrested by Deputy David Yingling for Failure to Pay Fine.
Michael Lee Skirvin (Age 23 of Lusby) was arrested for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute. The Grand Jury of St. Mary's County Indicted Suspect Skirvin based on an investigation conducted by BCI Narcotics Officers. The warrant was served by Deputy Michael Worrey.
Deputies and Troopers responded to a call for a "shooting complaint" in a Lexington Park neighborhood. Once on the scene they encountered Suspect Brandon Leonard Young (Age 20 of No Fixed Address). Identification was requested and Suspect Young provided false information. It was revealed later that he was wanted. The suspect fled on foot. He was apprehended hiding under the deck of a home. As he was being placed into the marked unit he kicked Deputy Timothy Reese in the upper body. He was charged with Resisting Arrest, Assault on an Officer, Obstruction and False Statement.
Deputy Margaret Smolarsky conducted an investigation into an employee of a California Department Store who was believed to be stealing. The investigation revealed that Samantha Shea Collins (Age 20 of Leonardtown) had been stealing money through her position at the business. She was charged with seven (7) counts of theft under $100.00, three (3) counts of theft under $500.00 and one (1) count of theft scheme over $500.00.
Deputy J. Kirkner arrested Linda Ann Wade (Age 48 of Lexington Park) for Failure to Appear.
Timothy Wayne Brooks (Age 35 of Lexington Park) was arrested by Deputy Kevin Meyer for Failure to Appear.
Paul Benjamin Nailor (Age 41 of Leonardtown) was arrested for passing a worthless check. The arrest was made by Deputy David Goff.
Kodi Tevon Robinson (Age 27 of Lexington Park) was arrested on an Indictment through the Grand Jury of St. Mary's County for Possession of Cocaine and Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine. The investigation was conducted by BCI Narcotics Division and the arrest was made by Deputy Shaun Carberry.
Steven Michael Alderson (Age 43 of Hollywood) was arrested by Deputy Shaun Carberry on two (2) separate warrants for Violation of Protective Orders. The warrants were through the Calvert County District Court.
Garry Michael Roberts (Age 46 of White Plains) was charged on a Criminal Summons through the Circuit Court for St. Charles County with Theft Scheme over $500.00. Deputy Angela Muller was the serving Officer.
Susan Diane Richardson (Age 37 of Lexington Park) was charged on a Criminal Summons for passing a worthless check valued at more than $160.00. The charging Deputy was Deputy Marci Faulkner.
