PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
BURGLARY: On 3-28, between 8:00 AM and 3:47 PM, an unknown culprit forcibly entered a residence on Coyote Ct., Lusby, and ransacked several rooms. The only thing reported stolen at this time is a box of crackers. TPR Chirichella is handling the investigation.
POSSESSION OF PCP: On 3-29, 1:49 PM, Rt. 4, Owings, TFC Koch stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The operator, Alan Filmore Mansfield, 48, of Prince Frederick, was subsequently arrested for DUI. Incident to arrest, 14 cigarettes dipped in suspected PCP and a glass bottle containing suspected PCP were recovered. In addition to the DUI, Mr. Mansfield was charged with possession of PCP and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
POSSESSION OF HANDGUN/MARIJUANA: On 4-1, 2:19 AM, Rt. 231, Prince Frederick, TFC Keen stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the occupants, TFC Keen detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and a handgun and a baggie of suspected marijuana were recovered. Arrested for possession of the handgun and marijuana was Robert Joseph Brown, II, 19, of Waldorf; a 17-year-old male, of Waldorf, was charged with possession of marijuana. After processing, Mr. Brown was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing. The juvenile was released to a parent.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 4-3, 12:24 AM, St. Leonard Rd., St. Leonard, TFC Keen stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the occupant, TFC Keen detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and suspected marijuana and CDS paraphernalia were recovered. Arrested at that time for possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia was a 17-year-old male, of St. Leonard. After processing, he was released to a parent.
