LEXINGTON PARK, Md. - Deputy State Fire Marshals have charged a Calvert County man with burning his vehicle on March 13, 2007 in Lexington Park. Charles Henry Hall, III, age 29, has been charged with malicious burning in connection with the 3:29 p.m. incident located behind the Papa John's Pizza at 21690 Great Mills Road.
Investigators believe the defendant burned his vehicle, a 1988 Pontiac Firebird, to collect insurance proceeds. Hall was arrested on Friday, March 23, 2007 and was released pending an appearance before the District Court.
