MSP Reports for Calvert County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARY: On 3-22, a resident of Fairgrounds Rd., Prince Frederick, reported than an unknown culprit had entered her apartment and removed a Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop, contained in a brown bag with white fur trim. TPR Korn is handling the investigation.

THEFT: On 3-23, approximately 2:00 PM, an unknown culprit, possibly driving a silver passenger vehicle, removed a Craftsman 2400 PSI pressure washer from the front yard of a residence on S. Shore Dr., Port Republic. TPR Roy is handling the investigation.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On 3-23, 6:21 PM, Rt. 4, Owings, TPR Roy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The operator, Alan Filmore Mansfield, 48, of Prince Frederick, was subsequently arrested for DUI. Incident to arrest, suspected crack-cocaine was located on his person. In addition to being charged with possession of cocaine, Mr. Mansfield was found to be driving on a suspended/revoked license. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On 3-23, 11:52 PM, Town Sq. Dr., Lusby, TPR Towers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A computer check revealed that a passenger, Mark Steven Garner, 18, of Lusby, was wanted by the CCSO for failing to appear in court. Incident to arrest, suspected cocaine and CDS paraphernalia were located in the vehicle. Arrested at that time for possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia were Erin Nicole Stahl, 19, of Lusby and Jack Dean Garner, 21, of
St. Leonard. Mr. Mark Garner was also charged with possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, they were transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 3-24, approximately 9:15 PM, an unknown culprit threw a large rock at a vehicle parked in a driveway on Sixes Rd., Prince Frederick. Damage to the windshield and front fender is estimated at $2,000.00. TPR Roy is handling the investigation.

BURGLARY: On 3-26, between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM, an unknown culprit forcibly entered a residence on Holland Cliffs Rd., Huntingtown, and removed several pieces of jewelry. TFC Schmidt is handling the investigation.
