Shots Fired Into Two Callaway Apartments


CALLAWAY, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office reported that two apartments in Hunting Meadows Court in Callaway were struck by gunfire early Sunday morning. The windshield of a parked vehicle in the complex was also struck.

On March 25 at approximately 2:48 a.m., Deputy Sheriffs responded to Hunting Meadows Court in the Hunting Quarter development for the report of shots being fired. Police determined that two apartments had been shot and the bullets had entered both residences.

The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) is currently investigating. BCI is an investigative team comprised of Detectives from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office and the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack.
