Calvert County Sheriff's Reports


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Calvert County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A victim reported to DFC Peter Aurich that his right rear tire had damage done to it while it was parked behind the Calvert Independent newspaper office in Prince Frederick on March 17 between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The damage is estimated at $100.

STOLEN AUTO: A 1995 Cadillac was stolen from in front of a home on N. Cassell Blvd. in Prince Frederick on March 16 and later discovered in PG County. The owner of the vehicle reported to DFC Peter Aurich that she discovered the car missing the following morning. The vehicle was located at Woodyard Road and Rosaryville Road by the Prince Georges County Police Department on March 17. DFC Aurich is investigating.

CDS VIOLATION: Dep. John Harms was conducting a patrol check of the Southern Community Center on Appeal Lane in Lusby on March 17 at 8:10 p.m. He observed an occupied vehicle parked in a handicap parking space not displaying handicap tags or placards. After making contact with the occupants of the vehicle, he detected the odor of burnt marijuana. The driver of the vehicle, Damian D. Tingle, 23, of Suitland, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
