Shots Fired Report in Waldorf Determined Unfounded


LA PLATA, Md. - Charles County Sheriff’s officers have determined that a report of shots fired near Willow View Place in Waldorf was unfounded. On Tuesday, March 13 at 2:53 p.m., ten officers responded to the area and discovered a large group of people, mostly teenagers who were just let off a school bus, who said they heard two to three shots fired.

According to police, none of the people they interviewed reported actually seeing a gun. Officers were also unable to find evidence of shots having been fired. The report was determined to be unfounded.
