St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED ARRESTS:

Lucas Wade Matchett (Age 23 of White Plains, Md) was arrested by Deputy Elizabeth Trossbach. Suspect Matchett is a repeat offender.

Christine Ann Graff (Age 54 of Mechanicsville, Md) was arrested by Deputy Jason Graves.

Glenn Joseph Wood (Age 38 of California, Md.) was arrested by Deputy Patrick Handy for his third Alcohol Driving Offense.

CRIMINAL SUMMONS FOR BAD CHECKS:

Cynthia Arleen Dobelman (Age 41 of Mechanicsville) was served by Deputy Wayne Milam. The check was valued at $85.00.

Krystal Blair Lyles (Age 21 of Leonardtown) was served by Deputy Keith Moritz. The check was valued at more than $57.00.

MacGregor Hume Paul (Age 56 of California) was served by Deputy David Corcoran. The check was valued at more than $28.00.

Chanda Renee Norton (Age 35 of Great Mills) was served by Deputy Earl Young. The check was valued at $62.00.

Christopher Harrison (Age 48 of Hughesville Md.) was served by Deputy Wayne Milam. The check was valued at $100.00.

Barbara Kay Wade (Age 36 of Mechanicsville) was served by Deputy Anthony Whipkey. The check was valued at $200.00.

CRIMINAL SUMMONS FOR ASSAULT SECOND DEGREE:

James Herbert Jones (Age 37 of Mechanicsville) was charged by Deputy Robert Gill with Second Degree Assault. Suspect Jones was arguing with the victims over a "roadway".

Richard Conrad Everson Jr. (Age 35 of Mechanicsville) was charged by Deputy Elizabeth Trossbach with Assault Second Degree. Suspect Everson assaulted the victim by striking him in the head with a baby walker.

Michael Christian Matthews (Age 32 of Leonardtown) was charged by Deputy David Cowan with Assault Second Degree. Suspect Matthews struck the victim as he arrived at a Leonardtown home to pick his girlfriend up.

Beverly Ann Abell (Age 44 of Leonardtown) was charged by Deputy Timothy White with Assault Second Degree. Suspect Abell was involved in a verbal altercation that became physical. She caused scratches to the victim's face and injured his thumb when she forcibly removed his cell phone as he tried to call 911.

Amanda Lynn Grumbine (Age 23 of Lexington Park) was charged by Deputy Douglas Harris with Assault Second Degree. Suspect Grumbine struck the victim in the face with a closed fist causing swelling to the victim's face and chipping her tooth.

WARRANTS:

Michael Anthony Salerno (Age 21 of Lusby, Md) was arrested by Deputy Robert Gill for Failure to Appear in the Calvert County District Court.

Tanya Anita Hall (Age 30 of Prince Frederick Md.) was arrested by Deputy Patrick Handy for Failure to Appear in the Calvert County District Court.

Steven Wayne Carter (Age 48 of Lexington Park) was arrested by Deputy Charles Dodson for Failure to Appear.

Crystal Lynn Harris (Age 27 of California, Md.) was arrested by Deputy Robert Merritt for Violation of Probation.

Michael Anthony Wasson (Age 48 of Lexington Park) was arrested by Deputy Brian Connelly for Failure to Appear.

Joseph William Curtis (Age 44 of Chaptico, Md.) was arrested by Deputy Jason Maletto for Contempt of Court.

James Robert Daniels (Age 27 of Bushwood) was arrested by Deputy James Maguire for Domestic Assault. The suspect struck the victim in the face with an open hand.

Dale Thomas Norfolk (Age 18 of Lexington Park) was arrested by Deputy Shawn Moses for Failure to Appear.

Ronald William Cradle (Age 28 of Lexington Park) was arrested on an open Grand Jury warrant for Escape Second Degree by Deputy Shawn Moses.

Ishmael Aboyd Thomas (Age 27 of Mechanicsville) was arrested by Deputy Sarah Lacey for Failure to Appear.

Adrian Eugene Johnson (Age 28 of Lexington Park) was arrested by Deputy James Fontana for Failure to Pay Child Support.

Carl Leslie Rainey Jr. (Age 27 of Saint Inigoes, Md.) was arrested by Deputy Marci Faulkner for passing a worthless check.

Robert Maurice Scriber (Age 33 of No Fixed Address) was arrested by Deputy Patrick Handy for an open Circuit Court warrant for Failure to Appear. A search incident to that arrest revealed a quantity of cocaine.

Ingrid Francis Rafferty (Age 49 of Gaithersburg, Md) was arrested for Violation of a Protective Order by Deputy Jason Maletto. Further check revealed that there was an outstanding Criminal Summons for her as well. She was served the summons by Deputy Kevin Somerville for Telephone Misuse. Suspect Rafferty has left several threatening and harassing phone messages for an undisclosed victim at his place of employment in Leonardtown.

Anthony Michael Davis (Age 29 of LaPlata, Md.) was arrested by Corporal Eugene Hill for Failure to Appear.

William Lee Burch Jr. (Age 28 of LaPlata, Md.) was arrested by Deputy Kevin Meyer on a Grand Jury Indictment for Possession of CDS and Transporting a Handgun.

Eudra Keffie Kelly Hensley (Age 33 of Lexington Park) was arrested by Deputy William Waters for passing a worthless check.

Troy Kyle Gross (Age 33 of Waldorf, Md.) was arrested by Corporal Eugene Hill for Failure to Pay Child Support and Threats of Arson.

Frank James Fenwick (Age 31 of Lexington Park) was arrested by Deputy Michael George for Two (2) counts of Violation of Probation and one (1) warrant for Failure to Appear on a Controlled Dangerous Substance Violation case.

Lawrence Taylor (Age 44 of Lexington Park) and Diane Louise Taylor (Age 39 of Lexington Park) were both arrested by Deputy Randall Wood for Failure to Appear in the District Court.

JUVENILE ARRESTS:

A 17 year old male of Lexington Park was arrested for Violation of Electronic Monitoring. The arrest was made by Deputy Shawn Carberry.

A 17 year old male of Great Mills was arrested by Deputy Earl Young for a "Retake Warrant".

A 15 year old male of Scotland, Maryland was arrested and charged with Theft under $100.00. He was caught stealing from a Great Mills Store. Deputy Earl Young made the arrest. The juvenile was processed and released to a guardian.

A 12 year old male of Lexington Park was arrested by Deputy J. Kirkner for Theft under $100.00 and a Juvenile "Retake Warrant". He was transported to Cheltenham to await a hearing.

CRIMINAL SUMMONS MISCELLANEOUS:

Marissa Jean Smith (Age 21 of Great Mills) was charged by Deputy Keith Moritz for possession of a crack cocaine smoking device.

Tavonya Sherrie Dyson (Age 32 of Leonardtown) was charged by Deputy Douglas Harris with "Obtaining Property of a Vulnerable Adult". The Suspect was a care giver who wrote checks out to cash and kept the money for herself. The total value of the theft is believed to be between $2,000.00 and $3,000.00.

Rony Napoleon Aubourg (Age 29 of Lexington Park) was charged with numerous counts of Fraud, Identity Theft, and related charges. Suspect Aubourg stole the victim's credit card from his home, activated and began to use it for personal items. The suspect then accessed the victim's online banking and made payments on the fraudulent credit card purchases. The investigation was conducted by Deputy Kevin Meyer.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Yan Ching Yeang (Age 38 of Lexington Park) was arrested by Deputy Brian Connelly for Theft under $100.00. Suspect Yeang was caught stealing eight tubes of biscuits from a Great Mills grocery store.

Deputy Sarah Lacey conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was reported to 911 as "operating recklessly" in the Mechanicsville area. The vehicle continued without stopping for a long distance. Once the stop was conducted the passenger of the vehicle immediately exited and came towards the Deputy. She ordered him to the ground as she could see a "black handle" of an unknown object in his waistband. The passenger was detained, found to be wanted out of Prince George's County and identified as Gregory James Chenette (Age 46 of Waldorf Md.) and the black handle was a comb. Deputy Lacey then ordered the operator to shut the vehicle off and exit the vehicle however the operator refused. A few moments later the operator stumbled from the vehicle and was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. At that time the operator was identified as Claude William Peterman Jr. (Age 52 of Port Tobacco, Md). A search incident to the arrest revealed a marijuana cigarette that appeared to be soaked in phencyclidine (PCP) located in the cup holder inside the vehicle.

Deputy Douglas Harris located Derrick Andrea Jordon (Age 22 of Lexington Park) who was a suspect in an assault. The victim in this case had been struck in the face with a closed fist. The victim was bleeding from her nose and had swelling to her face. Suspect Jordan was arrested and charged with Assault Second Degree.

Vivian Ann Thompson (Age 35 of St. Leonard Md.) and David Andrew Spears (Age 18 of Lexington Park) were arrested for Assault Second Degree by Deputy Shaun Carberry. The two were involved in a domestic dispute that turned physical. Spears was struck in the head with a cell phone and bit on the chin by Thompson and Thompson was head butted by Spears.

Deputy Angela Muller observed a vehicle in the parking lot of a Leonardtown gas station, running with loud music coming from inside. No one was inside the vehicle, but Deputy Muller saw a large sandwich style bag of marijuana in plain view on the center console. She stood by and Suspect Gary Nathaniel Thomas (Age 23 of Lexington Park) responded to get into his vehicle. After identifying him as the operator of the vehicle, he was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana.

Deputy Shawn Moses responded to a Lexington Park apartment complex for a report of an intoxicated suspect banging on doors. He discovered Rodney Terrance Lovett Jr. (Age 30 of Lexington Park) inside the complex, intoxicated, acting disorderly and in violation of a notice not to trespass. He was arrested and charged accordingly.
