St. Mary's County Sheriff's Report


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

Ronika Leann Stewart (Age 24 of Mechanicsville) was charged on a Criminal Summons for passing a worthless check. The check was in the amount of $60.00 and the charging officer was Deputy Douglas Harris.

Enoch Carmen Hunt (Age 36 of Piney Point) was charged by Deputy Robert Merritt for passing a worthless check. The check was in the amount of $450.00.

Joseph Kane Frank (Age 19 of Ashboro, N.C.) was charged by Deputy Kevin D. Somerville on a Circuit Court Criminal Summons. The Summons charged Burglary First Degree, Robbery First Degree and Theft under $100.00.

James Phillip Bellflower (Age 45 of Mechanicsville) was charged with Escape Second Degree for failing to return from Work Release.

Brian D. Corbin (Age 28 of Lexington Park) was arrested by Deputy Brian Connelly for Failure to Appear in the District Court for St. Mary's County.

Deputy David Goff made contact with Suspect Jeffrey Donald Hephner Sr. (Age 46 of Great Mills) in a Lexington Park grocery store. He found the suspect intoxicated, and hiding four packs of stolen meat under his jacket. Suspect Hephner Sr. was arrested and charged with Theft under $100.00. The meat was valued at more than $55.00.
