LEXINGTON PARK, Md. - On February 15, 2007, J.F. Taylor, Inc. was awarded a five-year, $117M contract to provide technical and administrative services for the Manned Flight Simulator facility, Aircraft Simulation Division (ASD) of NAVAIR's Integrated Battlespace Simulation and Test Department. J.F. Taylor, Inc. has been the prime contractor for the Manned Flight Simulator since 1991.

The contract tasking will include support for the management, design, manufacture, fabrication, development, installation, integration, upgrade, analysis, documentation, operation, and maintenance of all ASD facilities. This contract was awarded following a full and open competition. The period of performance, if all options are exercised, runs through February 29, 2012. Approved subcontractors on this contract are Alion Science and Technology Corporation, ARINC Engineering Services LLC, CSC Applied Technologies LLC, General Dynamics Information Technology, Sabre Systems, Inc., SAIC - Technology Services Company, and Wyle Laboratories, Inc.
