St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

Deputy Harold Young observed a domestic dispute along the side of Three Notch Road in Lexington Park. He stopped and Suspect Drew MacDonald Thompson (Age 19 of Great Mills) attempted to flee in his vehicle. Suspect Macdonald turned his disorderly actions from the female, to Deputy Young. He was ordered out of the vehicle and refused. A brief struggle ensued at which time Deputy Young deployed his Pepper Spray and the Suspect immediately complied. Suspect Thompson was arrested for Disordery Conduct.

Christopher Brian Beach (Age 40 of Scotland) is the manager of a Lexington Park business. Suspect Beach responded to the bathroom area of the establishment and confronted a patron who he believed was being unruly. The victim advised he was in the restroom and it may have appeared that he was arguing with his friend as they discussed opinions related to football. The Suspect entered the area and struck the victim in the face and pushed him to the ground. The victim suffered injuries to his face, knee and hand. He was treated by the Lexington Park Rescue Squad on the scene. Suspect Beach was arrested by Deputy Harold Young for Assault Second Degree.

Thomas Alexander Milburn (Age 40 of Bushwood) was charged on a Criminal Summons for Assault Second Degree by Deputy James Fontana.

Steven Wayne Carter (Age 48 of Lexington Park) was charged on a Criminal Summons by Deputy Douglas Harris for Tampering with an Electric Meter, Property Destruction and Theft under $500.00. Craig Andrew Kenndy (Age 42 of California) was sentenced to serve time in the St. Mary's County Detention as a result of his case being adjudicated in the District Court. The original charge was Property Destruction and Theft under $100.00. Suspect Kenndy was ordered to surrender to the St. Mary's County Detention Center to serve his time and he failed to do so. Deputies responded to a California residence and observed him inside. The suspect fled upstairs and was located hiding in a bedroom closet. After a struggle, he was placed under arrest and taken to the Detention Center. The arrest was made by Deputy William Rishel.

Sheriff's Office Deputy Eva Snyder responded to a local shopping center for the reported domestic dispute between husband and wife. Suspect Christine Victoria Parish-Knott (Age 21 of California) and Suspect Christopher Lee Knott (Age 19 of California) were involved in a verbal dispute. The dispute turned physical and each party assaulted and bit each other. Both were arrested for Assault Second Degree. Suspect Christopher Knott also had an open warrant for Bad Check.

Patricia Louise Tippett (Age 28 of No Fixed Address) was arrested by Deputy Michael George for shoplifting at a Lexington Park Department Store. Once confronted by Deputy George, Suspect Tippett became disorderly by shouting profanities. She was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Theft under $100.00.

Cameron Carter-Frost (Age 18 of Lexington Park) was charged on a Criminal Summons with Assault Second Degree for his involvement in the January 18th fight at Great Mills High School. The victim was struck in the face with a closed fist and then fell to the ground. At that time the victim stated he was kicked several times. Deputy Dale Reppel was the arresting Deputy.

Cheryl Ann Adam (Age 40 of No Fixed Address) was arrested for Theft under $100.00. Suspect Adam stole $4.00 worth of food from a Lexington Park grocery store. She was arrested by Deputy Mark A. Porter and found to have more than $7.00 in her possession.

Edward Eugene Guffey (Age 23 of Lexington Park was arrested on an open warrant by Deputy Ronald Maloy for Violation of a Protective Order.

Charles Edwin Compton Jr. (Age 20 of Leonardtown) was arrested on an open warrant by Deputy James Fontana. Suspect Compton was arrested through a Grand Jury Indictment for Resisting Arrest, Assault Second Degree and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.

David Leigh Shadle (Age 52 of Mechanicsville) was charged through a Criminal Information filed by the St. Mary's County State's Attorney's Office for placing a camera on private property for the purpose of deliberate surreptitious observation and possession of obscene material.

Sherod Anders McLaughlin (Age 25 of Lexington Park) was arrested on an open warrant by Deputy Michael George for Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute. The warrant was obtained by the Grand Jury of St. Mary's County. The investigation was conducted by the St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations Narcotics Division.

Horace Melvin Robinson (Age 50 of Lexington Park) was arrested by Deputy John Logalbo for Failure to Pay Child Support.

Donimique Terrill Barnes (Age 19 of Ridge, Maryland) was arrested on an open warrant for Possession of Marijuana. The Bureau of Criminal Investigations Narcotics Division conducted the investigation and Deputy Todd Fleenor made the arrest.

Joseph Earl Dodge (Age 36 of Hollywood) was arrested by Deputy David Goff for Second Degree Assault.
