Police Execute Drug Raid on Lexington Park Residence


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - After a month long investigation, police from various units in St. Mary's County conducted a drug raid on a Lexington Park residence. The raid netted small amounts of crack cocaine, marijuana, and cash.

According to police, on January 31, 2007 at approximately 8:00 p.m., members of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Emergency Services Team, St, Mary's County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit, and members the St. Mary's County BCI Narcotics Unit executed a search and seizure warrant at 46351 Unit 204 Columbus Drive in Lexington Park.

A search of the residence revealed the following items: 4.7 grams (0.166 ounces) of Crack Cocaine; 3.9 grams (0.138 ounces) of Marijuana; and $470.00 in U.S. Currency.

The suspect, James Leroy Hall, age 31 of Lexington Park, was arrested at the scene and charged with Possession of Cocaine. Hall was incarcerated at the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a review with the District Court Commissioner. Additional charges are pending after a review with the State's Attorney's Office.
