As Police Continue to Arrest Small-Time Dealers and End-Users, When Will Arrests Start
for Distributors
and Profiteers Higher Up the Supply Chain?
LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) today announced the arrest of several alleged small-time drug dealers.
On Jan. 13 at approximately 3:00 p.m., members of the BCI Narcotics Section, with the assistance of the Maryland State Police and St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Road Patrol officers, arrested Felix Gregory Reed. Reed is a 48 year-old resident of Mechanicsville, Md. Reed was located in the Mechanicsville area. He was wanted for an indictment warrant for Possession with Intent to Distribute.
At the time of his arrest, police say Reed was in possession of 0.7 grams (0.025 ounces) of cocaine valued at $140.00, 0.5 grams (0.018 ounces) of crack cocaine valued at $50.00 and $1,220.00 respectively.
Reed was taken to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a hearing with the District Court Commissioner.

On Jan. 12 at 5:45 p.m., members of the BCI Narcotics Section, with the assistance of the St. Mary's County K-9 unit, executed a search and seizure warrant in Lexington Park. The search warrant was executed in conjunction with information received about a wanted person.
During the search 33.1 grams (1.168 ounces) of cocaine valued at $3,310.00, paraphernalia, and $415 in cash were seized.
Louis Darnell Parker was arrested for two open arrest warrants, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Paraphernalia. Parker is a 34 year-old resident of California, Md.
Marlon Dewayne Stewart was arrested for Possession of Cocaine. Stewart is a 29 year-old
resident of Leonardtown, Md.
Parker and Stewart were transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a hearing with the District Court Commissioner.
Indictments in both cases are pending the review of the State's Attorney's Office.
