LEONARDTOWN, Md. - Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Michael J. Martirano, today announced the administrative appointment of Dale Farrell to the position of supervisor of teacher recruitment in the Department of Human Resources. The appointment was made by the Board of Education at its meeting of January 10, 2007.
Mr. Farrell has served as the certification specialist in the HR Department since January 2004. His experience also includes serving as an assistant principal and career & technology education instructor at Chopticon High School, and a summer intern in the HR Department. Mr. Farrell earned his Master of Science degree in curriculum and instruction from McDaniel College, formerly Western Maryland College, and his Bachelor of Science degree in business education from Frostburg State University.
This appointment becomes effective January 16, 2007.
