MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE: On 1-4, 10:32 AM, Rt. 2/4, St. Leonard, TFC Keen stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Assisted at the scene by TFC Bowling, CPL Gregory and K-9 Robbey, CCSO, a CDS scan was conducted. After alerting on the vehicle, a search was conducted. The search produced 2 packages of crystal methamphetamine and 4 articles of CDS paraphernalia. Arrested at that time for possession of methamphetamine and CDS paraphernalia was Armando Gomez, 32, of Baltimore. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

DISTRIBUTION OF HASHISH/MARIJUANA: On 1-5, criminal warrants were served on Kenneth Robert Langley, Sr., 47, and Diane Cochran Coco, 53, both of Solomons, for possession with intent to distribute hashish, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of hashish, possession of marijuana, and possession of CDS paraphernalia. An investigation by TPR Ewig on 12-30, led to the discovery of the 128.7 grams of suspected marijuana, 2 blocks (49.6 grams) of suspected hashish, and 9 articles of CDS paraphernalia in a shed on Creston Ln., Solomons.

POSSESSION OR COCAINE: On 1-5, criminal summonses for possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia were served on John Steven Husar, 31, and Nicole Renea Klorczyk, 28, both of Lusby. An investigation by TPR Towers on 1-4, at a residence on Thunderbird Dr., Lusby, led to the recovery of CDS paraphernalia containing suspected cocaine.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: During the overnight hours of 1-6, an unknown culprit smashed a window and flattened all four tires to a vehicle parked at Calvert Memorial Hospital. TFC Lashley is handling the investigation.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On 1-7, 7:57 PM, Rt. 2/4, Prince Frederick, TFC Keen stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Assisted at the scene by TPR Laziuck and K-9 Nero, a scan of the vehicle produced an alert. A search was conducted and suspected crack-cocaine was found in the vehicle. Arrested at that time for possession of cocaine was Nicholas Skamagos, 37, of Owings. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 1-8, 8:07 PM, Rt. 260, Owings, TPR Stern stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A computer check revealed that the operator, Robert Henry Munson, III, 29, of North Beach, was driving on a suspended license and wanted on an open warrant by Caroline Co., MD. Incident to arrest, a search of the passenger, Robert Henry Munson, Jr., 58, of North Beach, revealed a baggie of suspected marijuana. Mr. Munson, Jr., was then placed under arrest for possession of marijuana. After processing, they were transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 1-10, 8:45 AM, Rt. 231, Prince Frederick, TPR Towers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the operator, Derek Jamal Wallace, 19, of Prince Frederick, TPR Towers detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and a baggie of suspected marijuana was located in the vehicle. Mr. Wallace was placed under arrest at that time for possession of marijuana. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
