Two Men Try To Rob Man Changing Tire In Waldorf


WALDORF, Md. - According to the Charles County Sheriff’s Department, on Jan. 3 at 9:50 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 4100 block of Falcon Place in Waldorf for a report of an armed robbery. The officer's investigation revealed the victim was changing a tire on his vehicle when he observed one suspect walk toward him, pull a mask over his face, and make a hand gesture. As the victim stood up to run, he was hit from the side with an unknown object by a second suspect. The suspects demanded money and property. The victim fled the scene to a nearby residence. The suspects fled toward Grouse Place.

Officers and a K9 team searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. Both suspects are described as tall black males in their 20s with thin builds, wearing dark clothing. One suspect had a dark-colored mask covering the lower half of his face.
