St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

Michael Dominic Desarso (Age 34 of Lusby, Maryland) was arrested by Deputy Wayne Milam for Failure to Appear in the District Court for St. Mary's County.

Agnes Clarke (Age 39 of Mechanicsville) was arrested by Deputy Martin Mumper on an open arrest warrant for Theft under $500.00.

Roger Lee Wathen Sr. (Age 50 of Leonardtown) was arrested by Deputy Robert Gill for Violation of a Protective Order.

Deputy Sarah Lacey responded to the St. Mary's County Detention for the reported assault on a Correctional Officer. An inmate was being served breakfast when he threw the tray back at the Correctional Officer due to his bread being creased. The Correctional Officer was not injured. Charges against the 45 year old Inmate are pending a State's Attorney's Office review.

A Criminal Summons was served on Diane Michelle Hall (Age 40 of Leonardtown) by Deputy Joseph Somerville for passing a worthless check valued at more than $128.00.

Deputy Kevin Somerville arrested Donald Keith Kasper (Age 39 of Leonardtown) for Failure to Appear in the District Court for St. Mary's County.

A Criminal Summons was served on Brett Andrew Hudson (Age 18 of Avenue, Maryland) for the offense of Telephone Misuse. Deputy Martin Mumper was the investigating and charging Deputy.

Deputy Keith Moritz served a Criminal Summons on Kenneth Michael Gheen (Age 25 of Mechanicsville) for Assault Second Degree. The investigation was conducted by Deputy David Yingling.

Raymond Anthony Wright (Age 46 of No Fixed Address) was located by Deputy Charles Earle and arrested for Escape First Degree and Violation of Probation warrants.

Deputy Harold Young arrested Timothy Wayne Smith (Age 47 of Valley Lee, Maryland) for Theft over $500.00. The theft was valued at approximately $3,000.00.

Deputy Keith Moritz arrested Christopher Wayne Jenkins (Age 27 of Charlotte Hall) on an open warrant issued by the Grand Jury of St. Mary's County. The indictment charges, conspiracy to distribute cocaine, possession of cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine. The investigation was conducted by the Bureau of Criminal Investigations Narcotics Division.

Margaret Patricia Hare (Age 41 of No Fixed Address) was arrested on an open warrant by Deputy Charles Earle. The warrant charged the suspect with Failure to Appear and Violation of Probation.

Terrence Darnell English (Age 23 of Lexington Park) was arrested by Deputy Charles Earle on two (2) warrants for Failure to Comply with an Order of the Court related to Child Support.

Daniel Bernard Underwood (Age 48 of Great Mills) was arrested by Deputy Sarah Lacey for Assault Second Degree. The investigation was conducted by Deputy David Yingling.

Off Duty Deputy Lieutenant Daniel D. Alioto conducted a vehicle stop on Great Mills and identified the operator of the vehicle as Donald John Wojnar 3rd (Age 19 of Great Mills). As the driver was interviewed a pat down revealed a marijuana smoking device and a sandwich baggy containing $100.00 worth of marijuana. Deputy Michael George conducted the charging process.
