PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On 12-22, 3:31 PM, Rt. 4, Sunderland, TPR Chirichella responded to assist with a traffic stop, after a vehicle had almost sideswiped an unmarked MSP unit. A computer check revealed that the operator, William Morris King, Jr., 30, of Dunkirk, was wanted on an open warrant. Incident to arrest, a baggie of suspected crack-cocaine was located on Mr. Kings person. In addition to the possession of cocaine charge, Mr. King was charged with driving while impaired by drugs and several other traffic violations. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioners hearing.
THEFT: On 12-20, approximately 10:35 PM, an unknown culprit stole a propane tank from the rear of Ledos Pizza, Prince Frederick. TPR Korn is handling the investigation.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: During the overnight hours of 12-24, an unknown culprit damaged the windshield to a vehicle parked on Pine Blvd., Lusby. TPR Stern is handling the investigation.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: During the overnight hours of 12-25, an unknown culprit stole a1995 Honda Civic 2-door, green in color, MD tags JJK727, from the driveway of a residence on Madison Ave., North Beach. TPR Roy is handling the investigation.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 12-27, 10:49 PM, Rt. 2/4, Prince Frederick, TFC Whipp stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The operator, Robert Wallace Snow, 44, of Waldorf, MD, was subsequently arrested for DUI. Incident to arrest, suspected marijuana, CDS paraphernalia, and a machete (under drivers seat) were located in the vehicle. In addition to the DUI, Mr. Snow was charged with possession of marijuana, CDS paraphernalia, and a concealed deadly weapon. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioners hearing.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 12-30, 1:55 AM, Rt. 260, Owings, TFC Whipp stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The operator, Stephen Gregory Hurley, 21, of Owings, was subsequently arrested for DUI. Incident to arrest, 2 baggies of suspected marijuana and 2 CDS smoking devices were located in the vehicle. Mr. Hurley was then charged with possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioners hearing.
