Rabbit Hunting Now Permitted on Chapman's Residual Property in Chas. County


ANNAPOLIS - Maryland Department of Natural Resource's (DNR) Wildlife and Heritage Service announced today that rabbit hunting is now permitted on the 1,256-acre Chapman's Residual property located in northwestern Charles County.

Daily bag limits are applicable. A free permit and reservation are required.

Hunting season for rabbits will remain open until February 1.

For more information on permits and reservations, please call the Myrtle Grove Wildlife Management Area, Monday through Friday, at 301-743-5161 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
