MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARY: On 11-22, between 7:00 AM and 11:45 AM, an unknown culprit entered a residence on Plum Pt. Rd., Huntingtown, and removed several pieces of jewelry and a Winchester rifle. TPR Stern is handling the investigation.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA/OXYCODONE: On 11-23, 10:15 PM, while conducting a patrol check at Hallowing Ln., Prince Frederick, TFC Keen observed a suspicious vehicle. Upon contact with the operator, Matthew Mark Vukelich, 21, Huntingtown, TFC Keen observed suspected marijuana in plain view. A search was conducted and suspected oxycodone and CDS paraphernalia were recovered. Mr. Vukelich was placed under arrest at that time for possession of marijuana, oxycodone, and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

BURGLARY: On 11-25, 2:10 AM, TPR Stern responded to an alarm at the Dunkirk Mr. Tire. Investigation revealed that an unknown culprit had cut the lock to a storage container and removed four 17” Goodyear Eagle tires.

THEFT/RECOVERED STOLEN PROPERTY: On 11-26, 8:11 AM, TPR Laziuck responded to the area of Main St. and N/B Rt. 2/4, Prince Frederick, regarding a truck and trailer in the roadway blocking traffic. A computer check revealed that the truck had been reported stolen in King George, VA, and the trailer had been reported stolen from Cordova, Queen Anne’s Co., MD. A John Deere tractor loaded on the trailer was found to have been stolen from Lusby’s Hardware.
