CHARLES COUNTY, Md. -
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Charles County until 6 p.m. today.
A costal flood warning will be in effect in Charles County until noon tomorrow (Friday, November 17, 2006). Affected areas include, but are not limited to, Benedict and Cobb Island. Tides are expected to be 1- feet above normal.
Remember: Do not attempt to drive or walk through floodwater or water on a road.
Boat owners should take precautions to secure their boats.
