Charles County Sheriff's Reports: Indecent Exposure & Accident


LA PLATA, Md. - The Charles County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

INDECENT EXPOSURE: On Nov. 13 at 8:50 a.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the 12600 block of Willow View Place in Waldorf for the indecent exposure report. Investigation revealed the victim, a 29-year-old Waldorf woman, was sitting in her vehicle when she observed the suspect emerge from the woods and expose himself. The suspect is described as a dark-complexioned black male between 16 and 25 years of age and between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a blue or black jacket, dark pants and a ski mask.

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH: On Nov. 10 at 2:34 p.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Leonardtown Road and Gough Drive in Waldorf for the report of a motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed a 2002 Ford Explorer attempted to turn left from northbound Leonardtown Road onto Gough Drive but struck a 2003 Cadillac Escalade traveling south on Leonardtown Road. The driver of the Ford, Cynthia Lynn Lawler, 35, of Waldorf, was transported by ambulance to Civista Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Cadillac, Lashonda Nicole Ball, 26, and her passengers, three children ages 13, 9 and 1, all of Waldorf, were not injured. Officer R. Snyder investigated.
