BETHESDA, Md., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/—OMNITEC Solutions, Inc., a business management / communications and technology services firm has been awarded a five-year, $24.6 million contract by the U.S. Navy to provide Command Strategic Leadership Services in support of the Naval Air Systems Command Headquarters, in Patuxent River, Maryland.
Through NAVAIR's Analysis and Planning Office, OMNITEC employees will provide strategic management / communications support to NAVAIR's Commander, Vice Commander, and Deputy Commander, to include drafting speeches, presentations, strategic guidance, visionary documents, and facilitating executive-level meetings and decision forums. They will also support AIRSpeed, the business process improvement program of the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE), as well as the Sigma Program Office responsible for NAVAIR's implementation of the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning solution, an end-to- end business management system that standardizes Navy business practices. OMNITEC will continue to support the NAE War Council, and the Naval Capabilities Development Process (NCDP) charged with analyzing future warfighting capability requirements and alignment of NAVAIR and NAE strategic initiatives to the Navy's 21st century operating construct, Sea Power 21. OMNITEC personnel will also manage NAVAIR's Washington Liaison Office (WLO) based in Crystal City, VA, providing a secure working environment for Flag and General Officers, SES officials, civil servants, and Contractor Support personnel.
