Calvert County Sheriff's Reports


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Calvert County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident reports.

BURGLARY: On October 17 Dep. Carl Fischer responded to a home located on Dalrymple Road in Chesapeake Beach. The complainant stated that the Housing Authority owned the house and had residents living it that had moved out on October 6, leaving the house vacant. Sometime between that date and the 17th, an unknown suspect(s) had burglarized the house. Dep. Fischer will continue the investigation.

BURGLARY: On October 18 Deputy Thomas B. Tilley responded to a home on Green Leaf Terrace in
Chesapeake Beach for a burglary. The victim stated that unknown suspects entered her home and stole a PlayStation and 6 PlayStation games valued at over $400.00. Dep. Tilley will continue to investigate.

CDS VIOLATION: Deputy Aaron Locke responded to a report of a vehicle speeding up and down the roadway of Hatfield Road and Primrose Road in Huntingtown on October 19 at 11:06 p.m. Dep. Locke located a green Ford Taurus with two males standing next to it on Primrose Road. After approaching the two males, Dep. Locke discovered they had in their possession 12 beers and a clear plastic bag containing marijuana. Travon L. Holloway, 18, of Huntingtown was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and cited for possession of alcohol by a person under the age of 21. The other suspect, a 17-year-old juvenile, was charged with possession of marijuana on a youth report and released to his parents.

THEFT: Dep. Edwin A. Bradley took the report of a theft from a victim on Long Beach Road in St. Leonard. The victim reported that after hosting a party at her home on the evening of October 20, she noticed several items, valued at $350.00, missing the next morning. Among the items is a Sony DVD player and a fog machine. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dep. Bradley at 410-535-2800.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Deputy Brianne P. Gray, assisted by DFC Gary Ward, was dispersing a large crowd that had gathered in the parking lot across from Catamaran's Restaurant in Solomons on October 22 at 1:46 in the morning. She was approached by an individual who advised Dep. Gray that her friend was drunk and shouldn't be driving. Dep. Gray observed the suspect, later identified as Teresa A. Gilbert, 41, getting into the driver's seat of a vehicle with the vehicle keys. DFC Ward asked her to step out of the vehicle and she complied. At this time she also began hollering at her friends and bystanders, yelling obscenities and threatening to harm them. Gilbert was then removed from the scene and placed under arrest for disorderly conduct.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: A victim on Donner Court in Lusby advised Dep. Brian Wendland on October 22 that sometime overnight unknown suspects had entered his unlocked vehicle that was parked in his driveway and stolen items from within. Two cell phones, a Motorola and LG model, and a Gameboy were stolen, totaling more than $400.00 in value. Dep. Wendland will continue the investigation.
