MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARY: On 10-9, TPR Stern responded to a construction site on Rt. 4, Owings, for a burglary complaint. Investigation revealed that an unknown culprit had stolen 4 double-hung windows and a Bain hot tub.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE/MARIJUANA: On 10-11, 10:14 AM, Rt. 260, Dunkirk, TPR Stern stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A consent search was granted by the operator, Reuben Scott, 46, of Washington, DC. During the search, suspected cocaine, marijuana, and CDS paraphernalia were recovered. Mr. Scott was placed under arrest at that time for possession of cocaine, marijuana, and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: During the overnight hours of 10-14, an unknown culprit stole a 2000 Lincoln LS 4-door, black in color, MD reg. GMV709, parked along Crofton Ct., Prince Frederick. TPR Towers is handling the investigation.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 10-16, 3:02 AM, Rt. 2/4, Prince Frederick, TPR Roy stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. A consent search was obtained from the operator, Craig Anthony Musil, II, 19, of Churchton. During the search, a CDS smoking device containing suspected marijuana was recovered. Mr. Musil was then placed under arrest for possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

THEFT: On 10-16, between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM, an unknown culprit entered an unlocked vehicle parked at the Solomons 7-11 and removed a prescription bottle of Percoset. TFC Lass is handling the investigation.

FUGITIVE: On 10-17, 11:58 PM, Rt. 4, Dunkirk, TPR Roy responded to a 2-car motor vehicle accident. A routine computer check revealed that one of the operators, Antoine Greggory Offutt, 24, of Oxon Hill, MD, was wanted in VA for grand larceny of a handgun. He was placed under arrest on a fugitive warrant and transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
