St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


The following arrests were made by the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office on October 3rd, 2006.

Isabella Marie Herbert-Age 28 of Lexington Park was charged on a Criminal Summons by Deputy Michael George for passing a bad check. The check was in the amount of $31.50.

Janet Lorraine Brooks-Age 51 of No Fixed Address was arrested by Deputy Timothy Reese. Deputy Reese responded to a Lexington Park Motel for the reported burglary. His investigation revealed that Suspect Brooks had kick in a door to a motel room looking for an individual she believed was inside with a prostitute. She was arrested and charged with First Degree Burglary.

Joseph Allen Horan-Age 39 of Hughesville, Maryland was arrested on an open warrant for Burglary First Degree. Suspect Horan forcibly entered a Mechanicsville residence and stole the victim’s dog. The investigation was conducted by Deputy David Cowan and the arresting Deputy was Deputy James Stone.

Garett Alphonso Fenwick-Age 36 of Mechanicsville was arrested by Deputy Terry Kile on an open Warrant for Failure to Appear. The original charges were drug related.

Afam Andre Miti-Age 26 of Oxen Hill, Maryland was arrested for a warrant related to a bad check. The worthless check was in the amount of $350.00 and the arresting Deputy was Deputy Ronald Maloy.
