On Friday, September 22, 2006 at 2:18 am, TFC Evans stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 5 at Route 6, Charlotte Hall. The driver, Kjell Hans Hanson, 25, of California MD, was subsequently arrested for DUI. A search of the vehicle, incident to arrest, revealed a bag containing marijuana inside a book bag. Mr. Hanson was charged with DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was taken to the detention center and held pending a bond review.
On Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 1:30 am, TFC Evans stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 235 at Wildewood Blvd, California. The driver, Jeremy Tyler King, 23, of Hollywood, was subsequently arrested for DUI. A search of the vehicle, incident to arrest, revealed a metal smoking device, containing marijuana, in the center console. Mr. King was charged with DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was taken to the detention center and held pending a bond review.
On Monday, September 25, 2006 at 3:30 pm, TFC Rezza responded to the Leonardtown Centre for a reported assault. The victim and witness advised that the victim got into the suspect’s vehicle, who there was an active protective order against, and began a conversation. When the suspect asked for money and the victim refused the suspect grabbed the victim around the neck and pushed her out of the vehicle. Before the victim could completely exit, the suspect drove off hitting the victim. The victim sustained minor injuries to her neck and leg. Case open pending charges.
