North Beach, MD - The Westlawn Inn announced today that it has welcomed Craig O'Neill as its new executive chef. O'Neill graduated in 1999 from the esteemed Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. He has cultivated his craft at some of the premier fine dining establishments on the East Coast including Nemo Restaurant in Miami, Florida, Blossom Restaurant in Charleston, South Carolina and most recently Roy's in Baltimore, Maryland.
"His distinguished approach allows the best quality ingredients to define the dish while also touching upon his strengths in Southern style cuisines," according to a statement released by the restaurant. "The Westlawn Inn is extremely excited to have Chef O'Neill as an addition to its already talented culinary team." Chef O'Neill will be launching the Westlawn's new Fall menu this October.
The Westlawn Inn won the Restaurant Association of Maryland (RAM) 2005 Diner's Choice Award for the state of Maryland.
