$1,000 Reward for Info Leading to Arrest of Hit & Run Driver Who Left St. Mary's Man For Dead in Calvert


A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for a fatal hit and run accident that occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 19. Crime Solvers of Calvert County is asking for the public's help in finding and bringing to justice the driver of the vehicle that struck a pedestrian on Dares Beach Road.

At 2:04 in the morning police were called to the area of Dares Beach Road and Armory Road for an injured person lying in the roadway. John V. Medley, 42, was found unconscious but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
