On Thursday, August 24, 2006 at 1:50 pm, TFC L. Nims responded to Breezy Point Road, Coltons Point, for a reported domestic assault. Investigation revealed that Rosalie Ann Osborne, 58, of Coltons Point, had assaulted her husband causing a minor scratch to his neck and redness to his arm. Ms. Osborne was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.

On Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 3:24 am, TFC M. Moore observed a Chrysler, in the area of Route 235 and Route 4, in California, that had the tail light lens cover broken causing white light to be emitted to the rear. The vehicle was stopped and the driver identified as Elmore Rembert 3rd, 23, of Chaptico. A check through MVA indicated the tags displayed belong on a Daewoo, and Mr. Rembert did not have a driver’s license in addition his driving privilege being suspended. A check through NCIC indicated Mr. Rembert had an outstanding arrest warrant for a CDS charge. Observed in plain view was a marijuana cigarette in a cup between the driver and passenger seat. Mr. Rembert was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of CDS paraphernalia, driving without a license, driving while suspended, operating an unregistered vehicle, and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review.
